How we use your details
We only ask for what we need to look after you and your car, and we never sell it.
Who we are
Dynotech Autocentre is a trading name of IK Garage Ltd (company number 16625153), 10b RAC Estate, Park Road, Faringdon, Oxfordshire SN7 7BP. We're responsible for the personal details you give us. You can reach us on 01367 358100 or at admin@dynotechautocentre.co.uk.
What we collect, and why
- When you ring or email us: your name, how to reach you, and the car's details, so we can answer you, book the car in and do the job.
- When you use Dyno, our chat assistant: the messages you type. If you ask for a call back, your name and number go to the Dynotech team by email so they can ring you, and to nobody else.
- When you visit the website: our hosting company keeps standard server logs (such as the address your device connects from and the pages it asks for) to keep the site running and secure. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Dyno and AI
Dyno is an AI assistant. What you type is sent to an AI service run by Anthropic to write Dyno's reply. Please don't type anything private you wouldn't say on the phone to the garage. For anything about your own car, ringing the workshop is always best.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and call-back requests are kept only as long as we need them to deal with you. Job and invoice records are kept as long as the law requires for our accounts.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Just ring or email us. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
